Local legal, property and financial experts, Gilson Gray, has become the sole legal and property partner of the popular ‘East Lothian Ladies’ membership group.
Providing local information, knowledge and recommendations, the group –with more than 14,000 members – has welcomed the North Berwick-based legal firm to provide specialist support and trusted advice to members across the region.
The local Gilson Gray team will host events, share blogs, provide tools and support the group. Its experts will provide advice around topics such as pensions, inheritance tax, setting up business, employment and property.
East Lothian Ladies
East Lothian Ladies was formed in 2017 by Anna Thomson who has a passion for bringing together local people and businesses. With a large following, members can ask and search for information on businesses and recommendations from the area. In addition, members can purchase a token which gives them exclusive access to local discounts and offers from businesses.
Vanessa Kennedy, Marketing Director at Gilson Gray, said, “We work with groups that hold by the same values we do. With over 63% of women in our workforce and our passion for supporting local businesses, we are delighted to partner with East Lothian Ladies. We’ve been providing businesses across the region with support for a number of years and this partnership will help us extend our reach.
“We’ll be hosting online events to share our guidance and support and, eventually, we hope to hold these in-person. Our team will share helpful information through the Facebook page, newsletters and website. We are passionate about supporting our local area through its businesses and its people, and this partnership will help us do just that.”
The first online event is likely to be held in the September of this year and more information can be found on the Facebook group and website.
