22/12/14 - 12 Debts of Christmas - Part 2

We all know that cash is tight at this time of year. All those presents to buy, all those Christmas parties to pay for. Gilson Gray can help with any cash flow issues that you have, whether that be the recovery of debts due to you, or by giving you advice to help alleviate those issues. Here is our “12 Debts of Christmas” present to you; some interesting nuggets of information, some not so, and hidden amongst all that is our Christmas Present to you.

9. Nine Classic Excuses for Non-payment – We’ll all have heard some crackers in our time (my budgies died, I’ve lost my bank card, I’m waiting on payment from someone else, the dog ate my cash). The trick is not to let these delay recovery action. If you delay in taking steps to recover sums due to you then you may be jeopardising your chances of being paid.

8. Eight Free Demand Letters – so here’s our gift to you. If you are not an existing client of the firm then sign up in January and instruct our Debt Recovery department to recover some of your unpaid invoices. In return, upon the issue of our first fee note to you we will credit you with 8 free letters of demand (worth up to £400 plus vat). That’s not all; if you are already a client of the firm then simply refer a new client to us, and upon us sending our first fee note out to them you will get the same credit from us.

7. Seven Day Letters of Demand – we are often instructed to send out 7 day letters of demand for our clients. These are worded in appropriate terms and are highly successful in persuading debtors to pay monies due to you, thus avoiding the further expense and time involved in raising court action. Not only that, they bring about a quick recovery for our clients.
