Headed up by Partner Rosie Walker, the Gilson Gray Litigation and Dispute resolution division has also been recognised for the first time as a recognised practitioner.
Philippa said: “As well as being delighted to retain my individual band 1 ranking, I’m absolutely thrilled that just over two years after starting the Family Law team at Gilson Gray, we have achieved a team ranking as well as individual rankings for three of our members.
“We have a fantastic team here at Gilson Gray and to have that recognised externally is wonderful.”
Rosie said: “I am delighted that our team has been ranked for the first time in Chambers – that is tantamount to the quality of work the team undertakes and the loyal clients and referrers who have supported us since the firm started just over five years ago.”
Established just five years ago, Gilson Gray has risen to be one of the country’s leading law firms with an ethos of hiring only the best talent in the sector and providing a cost-effective, client-driven focus from offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and North Berwick.
Glen Gilson, Managing Partner of Gilson Gray, said: “It has never been our goal to be the biggest law firm in the country – instead, we aim to be the very best in the country.
“The Chambers rankings for our Family Law and Litigation teams provides solid, independent evidence that we are already delivering on that objective.
“Everything we have achieved to date, including the 2020 Chambers rankings, is testament to the exceptional talent and depth of our team. I am hugely proud of our achievements and the recognition of the work of everyone at Gilson Gray.”
