MOD data breach

On the 7th May 2024 the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defence (MOD) experienced one of the most significant data breaches in its history. This breach has raised serious concerns about national security and the effectiveness of cybersecurity measures within critical government institutions.

Highly sensitive information held on MOD staff was accessed, including their address history, bank details, security clearance, and medical records. We are now raising an action on behalf of our Scottish clients as a result of this breach.
