Ryan Laing

After spending 10 years in the Royal Navy Ryan opted for a bit of career change, swapping diving under the sea on submarines for diving into the world of finance. Ryan joined GGFM at the tail end of 2024 after completing his diploma in regulated financial planning, where his parents also worked at the time.

Ryan enjoys turning “hazy” financial milestones such as retirement into a clearer picture of what and when retirement looks like, how to plan for retirement and helping clients understand the ever-changing world of investments and pensions is his strength. He aims to leave every client meeting with both him, and clients feeling comfortable with what their goals and plans to achieve these goals are.

As well as financial planning, Ryan is constantly planning how he will fit in his next round of golf.
