23/10/14 - Gilson Gray appoint Trainee Solicitors for September 2015

Oliver Green

The Firm is delighted to announce that we have appointed trainees starting in 2015.  As a Firm, we believe it is essential to invest in talent and to encourage dynamic, intelligent and fun people to join our business.  We are delighted with the group we have selected and very much look forward to welcoming them to our team.

Attached is a photograph of one of our trainees, Rachael Henderson, who kindly sent us this snap of her toasting her appointment.  Well done Rachael!

Glen Gilson and Matthew Gray, said;

“We strive to offer a somewhat different working environment to the traditional legal firm.  Our goal is to unequivocally be the very best firm to work at in the country.  Our culture ultimately informs our relationships with clients and we genuinely believe we are therefore bringing something different to the market.  We believe that we should be the firm of choice for commercial and talented young lawyers and for more senior candidates that wish to influence and be involved in a collegiate and progressive business.  Any success that we may have enjoyed to date, be it within our legal, property or financial operations, is the simple result of capable, high quality team members investing themselves in both the business and our clients.  Everyone pulls in the same direction.”

Graham Millar, Head of Employment Law and the Training Partner at Gilson Gray, said;

“Our continuing growth and success is entirely dependent on attracting and recruiting the right calibre of people who share our vision – Our trainee appointments fit that bill and I am absolutely delighted that they have accepted our offer of a traineeship.  Certain of our applicants came through our Summer Placement programme and showed not only considerable technical skill and understanding, but an ability to fit immediately into the team.  I believe that they may have a long and successful career with the firm.”
