Stephen Forsyth
Stephen is a Legal Director in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution Team based in our Dundee Office. He is a seasoned litigator and regularly appears in the Sheriff Courts in Tayside and throughout Scotland. Stephen has a broad practice area, with a particular interest in complex contractual disputes, property/construction disputes and personal injury claims. He is recognized for his calm, level-headed approach with clients, but also as a robust litigator, if required.

Expertise
Stephen has 15 years’ experience in all aspects of commercial disputes including contractual disputes, debt recovery, boundary/servitude disputes, construction disputes, breach of the Equality Act, public law disputes and professional negligence. He also has a successful personal injury and medical negligence practice, in which he has secured multiple million pound plus settlements.
Stephen really enjoys being ‘on his feet’ in Court. He has appeared in Simple Procedure proofs, Ordinary Cause proofs in the Sheriff Court and Commercial Court, Employment Tribunals, DWP Tribunals, Housing and Property Chamber Tribunals, Summary Trials and Jury Trials. Stephen also regularly acts as instructing agent in Court of Session cases.

He has had numerous successes in the Courts securing all manner of payments or Orders for his clients, including numerous six figure and million pound plus settlements in personal injury/medical negligence claims.
