Joanne Sworder
Jo is a Partner and Deputy Head of Conveyancing, England and has experience on all aspects of residential property. Jo has experience in all types of residential property and is also a specialist later life/equity release legal advisor. She has also worked extensively for purchasers of new build property.

Jo joined Gilson Gray in November 2024, bringing almost 20 years of post-qualification experience in residential property to the team, having practiced in this area exclusively since qualification as a solicitor.
Jo has extensive experience in all aspects of residential property law, and has practiced in the East Midlands for the majority of her career. She believes in a solution-based approach and has many years’ experience leading teams in her previous roles.
Jo plays a key role supporting Cherie McBean in leading our residential property team based in Lincoln, providing support and training to our team and ensuring we deliver world-class service to our clients.
