Alex Garioch is a Solicitor Advocate and Partner in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team. He specialises in contentious construction and commercial dispute resolution.

As a Solicitor Advocate of 10 years standing, he has substantial advocacy experience. He regularly litigates within the courts as well as in arbitrations. He also regularly represents clients in adjudications, a form of dispute resolution at which he is particularly adept. His practice covers construction disputes as well as a wide range of disputes arising from commercial contracts.
Before joining Gilson Gray, Alex had been with his previous firm for a period of 18 years, during which time he had developed his team (all of whom are now part of the Gilson Gray team) and latterly been appointed Head of Litigation.
Aside from work, Alex is married with five children. He plays and coaches football as well as being a keen golfer.
