According to the esteemed Equality and Human Rights Commission, discrimination cases have seen a wealth of case law surrounding the appropriate levels of injury to feelings. While there is no formal limit on court awards, the senior appeal courts have established the renowned ‘Vento scale’—a range of awards for injury to feelings.
