The service, which supports certain older electricity meters, will impact both vacant and tenanted properties across all electricity suppliers. It is therefore vital that anyone with an RTS meter should contact their supplier directly to arrange for an upgraded electricity meter to be installed.
After the 30th June, RTS meters may stop working or act unpredictably, potentially leading to higher bills or supply disruptions.
