Eilidh is an associate in our Insolvency Team with considerable experience in both personal and corporate insolvency and proceeds of crime.

    Expertise

    Eilidh has many years’ experience in litigation and dispute resolution with a particular focus on insolvency and proceeds of crime.  She acts for insolvency practitioners, creditors, directors/shareholders and private individuals as well as local authorities and government bodies.  Eilidh frequently appears for clients in the sheriff courts and instructs counsel in the Court of Session.

    Eilidh advises on corporate insolvency matters including liquidations, administrations and CVAs.  Eilidh also advises on restructuring and directors’ duties including situations where a formal insolvency appointment is unnecessary.  In terms of personal insolvency, Eilidh’s practice covers sequestrations (bankruptcy), trust deeds and the Debt Arrangement Scheme.  Her practice also covers litigations post appointment of an insolvency practitioner such as gratuitous alienations and other challengeable transactions.   Eilidh also acts for enforcement administrators appointed in terms of the Proceeds of Crime legislation.
