Property Sales Assistant

Location: East Lothian

Hours  Full time / 37.5 hours per week

Main Duties:

To provide a comprehensive, first-class support service to the Property Sales team, contributing to the growth and development of the Firm’s estate agency practice in East Lothian and the surrounding areas. You will support our fee earners in generating and delivering quality client outcomes.  You will be based in our North Berwick office.

  •  Required Knowledge and Experience
  • An up-to-date knowledge of the property industry
  • An understanding of the East Lothian property market
  • Experience of providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment

Previous experience of using BDP (estate agency management software) or Envision (case management system) would be desirable

Lettings Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic lettings assistant to be based in our Edinburgh office.

Location:  Edinburgh

Overall Objective:

To provide a professional and efficient administrative support service to a team of Property Managers and Lettings Directors within Gilson Gray Property Services. You will be based in our Edinburgh office.

Required knowledge and experience:

  • Experience of general administration duties, ideally in a property setting
  • Experience of dealing directly with clients’ enquiries by telephone
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office

Employment background or knowledge within the Lettings industry would be an advantage

Front of House Assistant

We are looking for a front of house assistant to be based in our Glasgow office.

The role is to provide a professional front of house service to our clients and staff by answering telephones calls, taking messages and greeting clients when coming to the office.

Location: Glasgow

Hours: 9.00am – 5.30pm / 37.5 hours per week

Accounts and Compliance Co-ordinator

We are looking for an experienced individual to join our lettings department as an Accounts and Compliance Co-ordinator.

The role is to provide a key function that is integral to the operational continuity and service delivery within our Lettings department.  You will report into the Lettings Operations Board and the management team.Location: Edinburgh

Required knowledge and experience:

  • Experience of invoice charging and processing
  • Experience of using SME management software is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail

Solicitors

Our Corporate and Commercial Department are looking for solicitors to join our growing team:

  • Solicitor with 1 – 3 years PQE; or
  • Associate with 5 – 6 years PQE.

We are interested to speak with candidates with experience in M&A work, equity and corporate finance, share options, shareholder disputes, and commercial contracts.  We’re also keen to speak to those looking to (re)join private practice from industry.

Licensing Paralegal

We are looking for a Licensing Paralegal to assist with licensing applications.

Typing/audio transcription will be required as part of the job as is previous experience as a licensing paralegal.

Location: Glasgow

Required knowledge and experience:

  • Familiar with licencing forms and processes
  • Able to process their own caseload
  • Good knowledge of the various licensing legislation

Secretary Real Estate

Location: Glasgow

We are looking for a secretary for our Real Estate team, to provide secretarial assistance to lawyers, using word processing and other technical skills in order to serve the needs of both internal and external clients, whilst demonstrating our core values.

Skills Required:

  • communicate concisely both verbally and in writing with internal and external clients
  • develop strong relationships within the team
  • plan and organise own work
  • type quickly and accurately

Required Knowledge and Experience: Previous experience of working as a legal secretary within a commercial property team is preferable, but we would consider a candidate who has relevant residential experience and is looking for a move into commercial property
